We are elated to announce that the Plant Conservation and Research Foundation (PCRF) has been awarded a grant from the esteemed Melinda Gray Ardia Environmental Foundation (MGAEF). This generous funding will be utilized for our ambitious project: “Establishing a Medicinal Schoolyard Forest with Local Vulnerable Plant Species”.

This project resonates with our unwavering commitment to preserving the rich biodiversity of our region, particularly the plant species that are facing vulnerability. By creating a medicinal schoolyard forest, we aspire to cultivate not only the plants but also the awareness and understanding of our community about the significance of these species in traditional medicine and their ecological roles.

Our sincere gratitude goes to the Melinda Gray Ardia Environmental Foundation for recognizing the importance of this initiative and providing the necessary funds to bring this vision to life. Through this collaboration, we intend to enlighten our younger generation about the medicinal wealth lying in their own backyards and the pressing need to conserve it.

The project will not only serve as a conservatory for these invaluable plant species but will also provide a hands-on learning environment for students and enthusiasts alike. It’s a step towards ensuring that our future generations remain connected to their roots while addressing global environmental challenges.

We invite our community members, partners, and well-wishers to be a part of this incredible journey. Together, we can create a sustainable, green, and educated future.
