At the Plant Conservation and Research Foundation (PCRF), our passion for preserving the native flora of Bangladesh drives us to take action and inspire the next generation of environmental stewards!

Recently, our dedicated PCRF team, led by the incredible Rifat Jahan, Head of Education, had the privilege of visiting the Biam Laboratory School and College, Rangpur, where we distributed seeds of 10 different species of forest trees. Species like Mahua, Hijal, Chalmugra, Reetha, Nageshorchapa, and Chapa found new homes among the curious and enthusiastic pupils.

Our primary goal was to ignite awareness and empathy for nature among the future guardians of our beloved forests. And wow, we were impressed by the pupils’ eagerness to learn about these rare seeds and their crucial role in preserving our environment.

Their commitment and dedication melted our hearts as they pledged to plant these seeds in their homes, schools, and nearby areas, promising to nurture them with care and love. Witnessing their determination to make a difference and protect Mother Nature was inspiring.

We were honoured to have the esteemed Principal, Mr. Md. Ahsan Habib, inaugurate this momentous program. His powerful message about the urgent need to combat climate change and environmental degradation through tree planting resonated deeply with students.

We thank Mr. Md. Ahsan Habib and the entire Biam Laboratory School and College community for their unwavering support and enthusiasm. Together, we are planting the seeds of a greener and brighter future for Bangladesh and beyond!

We also thank The Melinda Gray Ardia Environmental Foundation for the cordial support!

Join us in this noble mission! Together, we can be the change-makers our planet needs.
